Eat GoSu

On a cold damp and misty day what is better to eat but comfort food.  So while trying to figure out where we would take our family to go eat lunch, we definitely had comfort food on our minds and of course somewhere that was kid friendly.  We could think of no better restaurant to go to than GoSu in Irvington, it checked every box on our list.  A menu full of Korean and Japanese style meats and noodles- we knew it was exactly what were looking for.

We walked into GoSu and was greeted by the owner, Tony Kim, and friendly staff immediately.  One of our favorite things about eating at GoSu is when you walk in with 2 kids in tow they never even blink an eye and are happy to have you.  We put in our appetizer order and the kids food order first, for us a House Salad and GoSu Bulgogi Taco and the kids we ordered Chicken Katsu and an order of plain waffle fries.  Our little ones were so excited when the waitress came over with the chop stick helpers for them so they would be able to eat using them like we do.  When the food came they were so excited, my daughter thought it was the best and ate everything she could using her chop sticks.  And for us, the GoSu Bulgogi Tacos of course did not disappoint at all, marinated sliced ribs eye and house pico with cheese, these are an absolute favorite to get whenever we go.

Next we had an order of the Yaki Udon Noodles with Beef and a side of Tatsutage, bite sized Japanese fried chicken.   The Yaki Udon Noddles with Beef of course was everything that noddle dreams are made of.  Sautéed Udon noodles in a house broth with vegetables and beef- it was so delicious that it was hard to stop eating.  My husband really wanted some tea as he was feeling a little under the weather, so Tony made him some Citrus Tea.  Lets just say the Citrus Tea has now completely become his favorite tea ever!  The owner, Tony, is so incredibly nice and accommodating.  He made sure everything was perfect and he even played a game with my son that he found so fun and is still talking about the next day.
