Why Live Here?
Larchmont is a beautiful little village that boasts the prettiest public walking paths to be found along Long Island Sound in the pristine and peaceful Manor Park. Artists at easels are often seen painting the beauty of the environment, and many benches enable residents and visitors to relax and enjoy the vistas. Begun in the early 1700s as a summer resort town for New Yorkers looking for a retreat, Larchmont maintains some of that history in it’s architecture and tree-lined streets. It’s oldest and most historic home, the Manor House, was originally planted with larch trees that eventually gave the village its name.

Why We Love It!
Be sure to take a walk through Manor Park and check out the sailboats and sailors on Long Island Sound. I don’t think there’s a view that pretty anywhere else on the East Coast. ~ Kristen

The kids love Chatsworth Avenue School and Hommocks Middle School. The teachers truly care about the kids, and give them plenty of creative outlets through the awesome arts curriculum. ~ Andrea
